I really like these grass plugs. I have struggled to keep the st augustine grass growing in my lawn. Plugs don't last long. But this zoysia grass variety seems to like the sandy soil of my lawn and are starting to thicken outwards after being in the ground for about 3 weeks. I was concerned about erosion due to lots of rain after they went into the ground, so I installed an edge border for the most vulnerable area to prevent excess runoff from the patio, which was newly installed, and the grass plugs were installed on a short slope. But they seem to have rooted well, the soil is holding and the plugs are thriving.
